- The Pentland Javelin first early variety is ready to lift 15 weeks after planting which is slightly later than most first earlies.
- Very versatile in the kitchen and is suitable for everything from the simple yet delicious form of boiling to sauté-ing or roasting whole.
What You Need To Know:
- High yielding
- White round tubers with white flesh
- Very disease resistant
- Plant from March onwards and harvest 15 weeks after planting (May onwards)
- An essential factor which governs when exactly you should plant all potatoes depends on the date of the last frost in your area
- Avoid planting in soil where potatoes have grown for 2 years in succession to reduce risk of disease
