Niger seed is a small black seed that originates from Africa, favoured mainly by finches as the structure of their beak is ideally suited for this tiny seed. Rich in oil content and highly nutritious, niger seed is a staple in any finches diet.
This innovative feeder is designed specifically for use with niger seeds, as the teeny-tiny seeds can become a nuisance to garden owners if used with the wrong kind of feeder. The included tray is there to catch excess waste and prevent any unwanted spillages in your garden, it also allows more finches to feast together at once.
To keep these little beauties returning your your garden simply fill this feeder using the easy to open lid and hang on a branch or feeding station with the convenient, built-in handle. As finches often travel in larger flocks our feeder has a four-port feeding system, ideal for a busy finch environment.
